Built on one idea: most kitchens don't need replacing
Total Makeovers exists because kitchen companies make more money selling you a whole new kitchen, whether you need one or not. We make a good living doing the opposite.
The idea is simple, and it isn't ours
The average British kitchen has solid units hiding behind tired doors. The boxes are chipboard and they last decades. The doors are what you see, what you touch, and what makes a kitchen look old, and they're also the cheap part to replace. So: replace the doors, keep the boxes, spend roughly half of what a full refit would cost. That's it. That's the business.
Local owners, one standard
We're building this as a franchise network, deliberately. Each area gets its own owner, not a call centre, and not a fitter who happens to answer a phone. Your local owner does the measuring, the quoting, and the after-care, and the fitting is done by a team they know personally. It's the same standard of finish everywhere, from one accountable local person.
If you'd rather deal with a national brand than a one-man band, but want a human being on the other end of the phone, that's the gap we sit in.
What we're not
We're not the cheapest
You can buy flat-pack doors and fit them yourself for less. We're not pretending otherwise. What you're paying for is a properly fitted finish, made-to-measure doors, and someone to call if something's wrong.
We're not a showroom chain
We come to you. Seeing your kitchen in person means we quote accurately and design around what you actually have, not what a showroom display suggests you might have.
