The real difference: who's accountable
The kitchen industry's dirty secret isn't the price. It's the handoffs. Showroom chains split your job across sales staff, surveyors, dispatch and external fitters, and when something's wrong, everyone points at someone else. A local owner model puts one name on the whole job.
Where the big brands genuinely win
Showrooms
Wren and Magnet have real showrooms you can walk around. If you want to see full kitchens in person before committing, that's a real advantage; we bring samples to you instead.
Layout changes

Instant availability
The volume retailers hold stock. We order made-to-measure, which means about three weeks from order to fitting.

Dream Doors built the door-replacement category in the UK, and Kitchen Magic run a genuinely professional operation. We compete by being straighter than either of them, and by owning the whole job locally. If you'd rather buy from an established network with ten more years of track record, that's a reasonable choice: go with our blessing, and come back if the service disappoints.
